Our Montessori Learning Environment
Montessori Sessions (Delivered by Qualified Montessori Teachers with a High Teacher-to-Child Ratio)
We aim to provide high-quality Montessori sessions led by fully qualified Montessori teachers.
We maintain enhanced staffing ratios required to deliver individualised, child-led learning, the use of specialised Montessori materials, and the careful observation and planning that underpin the Montessori approach.
Nutrition & Food Technology (Cooking and Baking)
At the nursery we encourage hands-on cooking and baking activities that support children’s understanding of nutrition, food preparation, and healthy choices.
These sessions promote practical life skills, fine motor development, independence, and confidence while supporting learning across communication, mathematics, and understanding of the world.

Live Animal & Nature Enrichment Education
We provide live animal experiences and nature-based learning resources that enhance children’s understanding of the natural world. These experiences foster curiosity, empathy, responsibility, and respect for living things, while providing meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities linked to the curriculum.

Outdoor Learning & Forest School–Inspired Sessions
Children are offered outdoor learning and forest school-inspired sessions. Teachers use specialist resources, equipment, and curate supervised activities such as nature exploration, seasonal learning, and risk-aware play.
Outdoor learning supports children’s physical development, resilience, confidence, and connection with the natural environment.
Celebrations & Enrichment Activities
Children at the nursery are encouraged to participate in multicultural and seasonal celebrations, parties (Christmas, summer, end-of-term) with age-appropriate entertainment, supporting Montessori Cosmic Education and British Values.
We aim to deliver a high-quality, holistic early years curriculum and ensure children benefit from a broad range of engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.’

The nursery prioritises high-quality, nutritious ingredients to support children’s health, wellbeing, and energy levels throughout the day. A wide range of art and creative materials, including paint, paper, craft resources, and sensory media is provided to support the curriculum. Creative activities support children’s self-expression, imagination, fine motor skills, and emotional development, while encouraging exploration of colour, texture, and design.
Montessori Cloud-Based Learning & Communication Application
This fee supports the use of our secure Montessori-aligned, cloud-based child application, which plays an important role in supporting your child’s learning and our partnership with parents. The platform is used by our qualified practitioners to record observations, track learning outcomes, and build individual child profiles, ensuring each child’s progress is carefully monitored and supported in line with Montessori principles and the EYFS.The application also serves as a central communication hub for families. It provides parents with access to learning updates, photographs, notices, nursery communications, expert advice, and useful articles on child development. In addition, it securely stores our nursery policies and key documents, helping us reduce paper use and operate in a more environmentally responsible, paper-free way. By using this system, we are able to maintain accurate records, share meaningful insights into your child’s development, and strengthen communication between home and nursery, while ensuring data security and confidentiality.
